We’re hiring: Health Writer (Remote, Nigeria) ✍
Most health advice people in Africa find online was written for someone else. It names foods they don’t eat, prices they don’t pay, and services they can’t reach.
Pákó Health is changing that. Our journal publishes clear, medically reviewed articles that reflect readers’ real lives.
We’re looking for freelance health writers to help us raise Africa’s most health-informed generation.
Responsibilities:
- Write up to four articles a month, 1,000–1,500 words each
- Read the research and report it honestly, in plain language
- Check local details such as clinic prices and helplines that actually work
- Revise your drafts after medical review
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Live in Nigeria
- Write simply and clearly
- Can explain a study to someone without a university education
- Have two health articles to show us
