A growing distribution company is expanding its operations and is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join its team in Ajah, Lagos. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analysing, interpreting, and presenting business data to support effective decision-making and improve the company’s distribution and operations

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Collect, organise, clean, and analyse data from various business operations.
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Analyse sales, inventory, distribution, customer, and operational data.
- Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement using available data.
- Create and maintain dashboards, spreadsheets, and data visualisations.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide management insights.
- Assist management in making data-driven business decisions.
- Identify inconsistencies or errors in data and ensure data accuracy.
- Work closely with sales, logistics, inventory, and other departments to obtain and analyse relevant information.
- Perform other data-related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Minimum of an HND in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Accounting, or a related field.
- Previous experience in data analysis, preferably within a distribution, FMCG, retail, logistics, or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis techniques.
- Ability to work with large amounts of data and produce accurate reports.
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
