Job Overview:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for generating qualified leads, managing outbound prospecting activities, and supporting the growth of the sales pipeline through strategic outreach and relationship building. The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will conduct prospect research, execute cold outreach campaigns, qualify opportunities, maintain CRM accuracy, and coordinate appointments for the sales team. This role is ideal for a proactive, results-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoys creating opportunities through consistent prospecting and follow-up.

Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Prospecting

• Conduct research to identify potential B2B clients and develop qualified lead lists.

• Execute high-volume cold calling campaigns to generate new business opportunities.

• Conduct outbound email outreach campaigns targeting prospective clients.

• Utilize LinkedIn outreach and prospecting strategies to engage decision-makers.

• Identify and qualify potential opportunities for the sales pipeline.

Pipeline Management

• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and activities within Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable CRM systems.

• Track prospect engagement and pipeline progression.

• Ensure CRM data integrity and reporting accuracy.

• Maintain organized records of interactions, follow-ups, and next steps.

• Consistently nurture prospects throughout the sales process.

Qualification & Appointment Setting

• Qualify leads based on predefined criteria and business requirements.

• Schedule meetings, consultations, and discovery calls for the sales team.

• Coordinate handoffs between prospecting and sales functions.

• Provide feedback regarding lead quality, prospect objections, and market insights.

• Support sales process optimization through ongoing communication and reporting.

Reporting & Analytics

• Track outreach performance and lead generation activities.

• Monitor lead conversion rates and pipeline metrics.

• Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for process improvement.

• Provide reporting and recommendations to improve sales effectiveness.

• Support leadership with insights related to prospecting performance and pipeline health.

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, sales development, or related outbound prospecting roles.

• Proven experience generating leads through cold calling and outbound prospecting efforts.

• Experience managing outbound email campaigns and lead nurturing activities.

• Experience maintaining CRM systems and managing sales pipeline data using Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.

• Experience qualifying leads and coordinating appointments for sales teams.

• Experience tracking sales activities, reporting metrics, and pipeline performance.

• Experience utilizing LinkedIn for prospecting and business development.

• Experience using AI-assisted tools to support outreach, prospecting, or follow-up activities is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Strong prospecting and lead generation capabilities.

• Strong cold calling and outbound communication skills.

• Strong CRM management and pipeline organization abilities using Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple leads, follow-ups, and priorities simultaneously.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret pipeline and conversion metrics.

• Self-motivated and highly results-oriented.
