Job Description
We are looking for a highly organised and detail-focused Finance Administrator to support the day-to-day financial operations of The Outdoors Group.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling transactions, supporting payables and receivables, and ensuring the smooth running of the finance function.

Responsibilities:
- Complete daily bank and ledger reconciliations
- Support sales and purchase ledger control accounts
- Upload and process invoices for payment
- Generate invoices, including bulk uploads from external systems
- Monitor debtor accounts and support aged debt recovery
- Process Direct Debit mandates
- Produce monthly aged receivables reports
- Manage finance mailbox queries and respond professionally
- Maintain organised digital records in line with GDPR and company policies

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Experience in a finance or accounts administration role
- Confident using Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero)
- Understanding of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Strong reconciliation and data-entry accuracy
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Professional and confident communicator
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,883.00 per year
